the boy can now roll over from his back to his tummy. this morning, Elisha felt the need to demonstrate two things: 1) his new-found abilities and 2) mama’s lack of caution when it comes to ignoring the straps on the bouncy seat.
i think he managed to do both very effectively, don’t you?Share your thoughts?
elisha has learned he can fight sleep. he will talk to himself to keep awake, even to the point where his babbles become more like whining cries which finally end in crying. sometimes, i think he’s fighting sleep because he’s in pain. there is no sign of those teeth coming except for the swollen lumps of gum on the bottom front of his mouth. they’re there, but when they will finally poke through as pearly whites is anyone’s guess at this point. poor babe.Share your thoughts?
it looks like things are almost back on track around here. i feel better.
this whole upgrade experience has helped me to realize that i want to design my own template from scratch. you know, in all my spare time with a full time job, a 4.5 month old, a husband, and a love for sleep. riiiiight.Share your thoughts?
Excuse the mess, but apparently I killed my template when I upgraded to WP3.0. Please be patient until the dust settles… I am so embarrassed.Share your thoughts?
we finally had to break down and buy motrin tonight. Elisha is totally teething, the left little lump of swollen gum in the bottom of his mouth is finally obviously bigger and more swollen than the little nublet on the right. something is coming, and my guess is it’s going to be his first pearly white. soon.
today he started shoving his first up against the left side of his face, near his jaw. that was my sign that things were finally more than just mildly uncomfortable. he’s been having trouble sleeping, so at 17 weeks, his toothless smile has a limited lifespan. i love it. he’s a cutie without teeth, but he’ll still be a cutie with teeth. it’ll be an exciting milestone, though i think parts of my body aren’t as excited about the thought as i am.
hopefully, i won’t have a biter.Share your thoughts?
